These works are part of a complex exhibition, as well as a series of installations, around the South African the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. They deal with the process of recycling discarded objects and emotions, pose questions of memory and amnesia and consider the possibility that "truth" will resurface in the recycling process. Hence the title.

This work was re-exhibited on the Klein Plastiche triennale in 1998 curated by Werner Meyer and entitled "Europe-Africa".
